We do not consider this principle as a challenge or matter of compromise, It is a holistic view of wood and the role it plays in our lives. Trees, while still in the ground, supply oxygen to the planet while at the same time acting as a natural trap for harmful carbon dioxide gases. The trees give, and they protect.

Once the trees are turned into wood products and later discarded into landfills there is a choice to be made. We choose to reclaim the wood instead of letting it rot and emit harmful carbon dioxide into the air. We want to break this negative cycle and transform old, used and discarded wood back into something of beauty and purpose.

Out of respect for the wood we have reclaimed, and as global citizens endeavoring to reduce our negative footprint on the planet, we then plant a new tree for each box of paneling we sell. That new tree completes the cycle. The sapling will grow to release new oxygen and clean the air.
